Caroline's Cream

Postby tarasimone » Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:22 pm

While looking into things to help Cayley with her eczema I have tried many different creams... and seem to have found something that works for the moment. It is called Caroline's Cream - http://www.carolineskincare.com/

It is doing such a great job - almost as good as the steroid creams.

Of course eczema is such an individual thing what works for one may not work for another - so if you'd like me to work out some way to send you a sample rather than buying a full tube let me know.

Other products we've tried or heard about...
* plain sorbolene- kenkay is a good brand - not in the pump pack though - apparently things are put into pump packs to thin it down a bit?
* haven't tried, but have heard much raving about moo goo

Hope this helps someone and their itchies! Poor little mites. So painful.

So far good old aqueous has been good for the soothing, but not for "getting rid of it" IYKWIM.

We have a moo goo sample so will give it a better go. Sorbolene for Holly just stings

Actually I think it was an aqueous cream from kenkay that we used rather than sorbolene... or maybe a combination of both.

Sorbolene isn't working here and I think that our latest "flare" up in the past two days has been from the cream we are using.

I'm really interesting in this cream though! I'd love just a teeny sample if that would work. Just a spoonful in a zip lock bag or something?? That way I can just make sure it doesn't "sting" or burn before buying. Only if that's ok??

Steriods and pinetarsal are the only things working at the moment. And a good dose of antihistamines before bed! At least we got some sleep here last night :)
