For me and Angi

Postby Suse » Mon Feb 08, 2010 10:33 am

Hey girls, back again...it seems I only ever post in here these days.

Anyway, Could you please keep Angi in your prayers...she got better fromn the gastro (PTL) but Natti has gone back to kindy and she came home with a cold and gave it to Angi...now, normally this would not be a big deal, but, Angi is prone to getting Bronchiolitis, which can lead to Asthma if not dealt with quickly. I am taking her to the doc again today, but I already know that the bronchiolitis has returned...this is the 4th time she has had it, and having a brother who suffered chronic asthma as a child, it is not something I want for my baby girl. So could you please pray that the Lord will take this affliction from her and that she does not develop asthma.

For me, well, I have not really been sleeping. About a week before Christmas I just stopped sleeping really. If I am lucky I get about 20 minutes sleep every 2-3 hours at night...but mostly I just don't sleep. Originally I think it was onset by the stress of Christmas, birthdays and a wedding all within 2 weeks, but then it has just continued. I have tried herbal sleep remedies and restavit sleeping tablets, all these did not work. I am trying the new natures own remedy, which takes about 4 days to see any results. Last night, out of sheer desperation I took phenergan, which helped a bit, I slept, buit not all night through. there is no reason that I can see that I am not sleeping. Both the girls have not woken during the night now for months, so I don't know what is going on. I am thinkgin some kind of chemical imbalance, but I am no doc.

Well, now that I have made an essay out of that, Thsankyou in advance girls.

Just an update on angi...I took her to the doctor, and I was right, she has bronchiolitis again...this is the 4th time. Alos she had stool samples taken while she was in hospital with what we thought was gastro...we were wrong. she had Typhoid fever!!!

Now don't ask me how she got it because she has never left the country and I don't recall giving her anything different to eat or drink. Natti never got it and neither did DH or I, so I have no clue. Anyway, I am hoping that it is all cleared up, but how scary is that...that would explain why she was screaming and writhing in pain too!

Oh Suse!!! That's an awful run you've had matey. Sorry to hear all that. Will pray you get some sleep - really good deep sleep. And will pray for Angi too. Our family has really gone through times like that too when there just seems to be an onslaught of illness, stress, financial and other issues. Keep pressing into Him who is our healer, our rest, our restorer, our comfort and our peace. Rest assured mate that He sees all and knows all and will bring you through this season.
Loads of love xox

Typhoid fever- gosh that would have been a shock hearing that!
I pray that Angi will soon be well and that she doesn't end up being an asthmatic. I pray for you especially too Suse that you can soon get some much needed sleep and work out what is causing the problem. Sometimes it is necessary to use medication for a short while to break the cycle and to get some relief.
Love to you all.
